Pictures on this page were taken with the Civil Air Patrol Satellite Digital Imaging System, (SDIS).   This new satellite-based system allows CAP aircraft to email pictures within minutes to ground units.  With this capability, incident commanders on the ground can get an immediate look at what is happening on the scene.
